CarFit - Wilmington Safety Center - 10/01/2026

CarFit is a FREE, interactive and educational program that teaches participants how to make their personal vehicle "fit" them to increase safety and mobility when they hit the road.
- Review 12 key areas of your fit to your car such as adequate space from the steering wheel, proper seat belt use, and properly adjusted head restraints.
- Learn how to use and adjust your safety devices
- Each checkup takes about 20 minutes — this is not a driving test or mechanical inspection.
CEA One-Day Condensed Childbirth - McCullough-Hyde - 10/03/26

Only register the expectant mother. She is encouraged to bring a birthing partner with her.
Do you want information about labor and delivery but are short on time? This class provides the information in a condensed format. In our interactive classes you will learn:
- Prenatal and infant nutrition
- How to know when you are in labor
- What will happen in the hospital?
- Comfort techniques to cope with labor and ways your coach can help.
- What your options are concerning medication and other interventions
- What you can expect after delivery for you and your baby

CEA Breastfeeding Good Samaritan - 10/03/26

This class is cosponsored by the Childbirth Education Association (CEA) and is free with registration of a CEA childbirth class.
All instructors are IBCLC‘s(International Board Certified Lactation Consultants) or CLC‘s (Certified Lactation Counselors) Although breastfeeding is a natural experience for mom and baby, it is a learned skill. Your birth partner is encouraged to attend this class with you. Together you will learn:
- How to recognize if the baby has a good latch
- How to know if the baby is getting enough milk
- Where to find help for breastfeeding concerns
- Tips for returning to work or school

Tai Chi for Health - TriHealth Pavilion - 10/05/2026

This series will be taught by a certified Tai Chi for Health Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist. Tai Chi for Health can be done seated or standing.
Tai chi benefits include:
- Improve your balance
- Increase your leg strength through low impact exercises
- Reduce your fear of falling
- Improve your mobility
- Increase your flexibility through a series of slow movements and deep breathing
Good Samaritan - CEA Postpartum Group - 10/08/2026

Looking for support as you begin your parenting journey? Join us for a 1½-hour postpartum group—a welcoming, baby-friendly space to connect with other new parents, share experiences, ask questions, and talk about life with a new baby.
This is also a great opportunity to practice getting out of the house with your baby in a supportive environment. Come as you are, bring your questions, and connect with other parents navigating this new season.
Designed for parents who are less than four months postpartum, this participant-driven group focuses on the topics that matter most to you. We may explore:
- Caring for mom and baby
- Physical and emotional changes after delivery
- Postpartum mental wellness
- Changes in relationships
- Getting out of the house and adjusting to life with a new baby
- Transitioning back to work
- Newborn sleep
- Helpful resources and support
Babies and partners are welcome!
Topics will be based on participant interest, so not every topic will be covered at every session.
