Bethesda North Maternity Tour - 12/28/25

During these group sessions, you will be introduced to the maternity services available at Bethesda North Hospital and discuss what to expect during your stay. The tour includes the areas of Labor and Delivery and Postpartum of each hospital. With these general tours there will be no visit to the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Good Samaritan or the Harold and Margaret Thomas Special Care Nursery at Bethesda North.
DO NOT ADD YOUR PARTNER, ONLY YOURSELF. Enroll the expectant Mother only, each registration reserves a spot for her and 1 support person. The tour will meet and start in the Main Front Lobby.
This tour is appropriate for adults only, NO CHILDREN will be permitted in these tours.
Good Samaritan TriHealth All-Day Childbirth - 01/03/26

The content of this one-day class is designed to prepare you for your labor and delivery. This course uses education material that is interactive and covers essential information on anatomy, labor, medical procedures, comfort techniques, newborns, postpartum and much more. The class discusses ways partners can help throughout the process. There are interactive activities in the class material, such as videos, animations, and much more. You’ll also get a sense of what labor is really like as you watch birth stories. You will also receive a maternity tour as part of this class. Lunch is not included.
Only register the expectant mother. She is encouraged to bring a birthing partner with her.
TotSaver - Bethesda North - 01/03/26

This program teaches cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques from the American Heart Association (AHA). It is designed to teach you how to recognize medical emergencies, seek emergency assistance for the infant, child, and adult in your life, and how to perform CPR. A CPR manual is included. Follows AHA guidelines.
**Each person in attendance must pre-register separately. Those arriving for class who are not registered may not be able to attend.

Big Brother/Big Sister Class - Bethesda North - 01/05/26

This class is designed to help children ages 3.5 and up prepare for family changes as they become big brothers or big sisters. In this class parents and children participate together, and your child will practice feeding, diapering, and burping their doll in class. The class includes a funny sibling video that kids will enjoy as well as learn from.
Please bring a doll or stuffed animal to class for your child to practice with. No tour will be provided with this class.
Your child will receive a big brother or big sister certificate and T-shirt.
Good Samaritan Maternity Tour - 01/05/26

Good Samaritan - CEA Postpartum Support - 01/08/26

This class is cosponsored by the Childbirth Education Association(CEA).
This four week educational support group/class will help you connect with other parents, talk about your experiences, and learn helpful tools and resources to navigate the first few months after delivery. This class is geared toward parents who are less than four months postpartum. Babies welcome!
In our interactive classes you will discuss:
- Care of mom and baby in the first four months
- Physical changes after delivery
- Relationship changes with partner/friends/coworkers
- Transitioning back to work
- Postpartum mental wellness
- Newborn sleep in the first year
Only register the mother. She is encouraged to bring a partner with her. Babies are welcome!
Stepping On Fall Prevention TriHealth Twin Lakes - 01/08/26

TriHealth guest experts (Pharmacist, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist and Vision Specialist) help attendees:
- Learn about simple and fun balance and strength training
- Learn about how medications can contribute to falls
- Learn how to eliminate fall hazards in your home
- Learn ways to keep from falling when out in the community
- Understand the role that vision plays in balance
- Understand the importance of vitamin D and calcium in protection against fall injuries
